MAINTENANCE OF ACRYLIC AND PLASTIC CANVAS

Maintenance of acrylic canvas:

-Remove dirt by vacuuming canvas. -From time to time use a solution of water (maximum temperature 30°C) and mild soap. -Apply to the canvas with a sponge or soft brush and then rinse with water. -Let the canvas dry completely before rolling it onto the awning again. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.

Barrier Effect

The finish of acrylic fabric creates a barrier effect enhancing water repellency and delaying soil adherence. It is important to know that agents such as acid rain and bird droppings, as well as an abrasive washing of the canvas, may damage the finish of the fabric.

Maintenance of plastic (PVC) canvas:

-Clean the canvas using a sponge, warm water and mild soap. Then rinse thoroughly. -Wash the fabric from time to time, to prevent debris from becoming embedded in it. -Let the canvas dry completely before rolling it onto the awning again. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
